For validation purposes, normal jet velocities between −40 m/s (suction) and +40 m/s (blowing) were applied on surface elements at two different locations of opposite sensitivity signs (pink and yellow spot, respectively). The blue squares indicate the computed drag values, and the red lines correspond to the sensitivity of the respective locations. Note the qualitative and quantitative agreement even for high jet velocities.
